Obituary: Roxana Starr Linley, 82

"She loved spending time and participating in the activities at the Milford Senior Center."

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Roxana Starr Linley, who left us peacefully on April 25, 2025 at the age of 82 at Orange Health Care Center.
She was born on September 21,1942 in Guilford and was the daughter of the late Burgess and Eleanor (Gilbert) Starr. She was a woman of grace, warmth and kindness - always putting others before herself and offering comfort and wisdom to those around her. Roxana worked at Stop & Shop in Branford for many years before her retirement. She was a volunteer at the VA Medical Center for many years, a member of the Totoket Fife and Drum Corp and she loved spending time and participating in the activities at the Milford Senior Center. She enjoyed the rodeo and horses. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. We would like to thank Orange Health Care Center for the continued care, love and support provided.
Roxana is survived by her six children, Michele Weaving (Raymond) of Branford, Patricia Linley (David Trickett) of East Haven, Donald Linley (Erica Grigley) of Guilford, Diane Linley of Newport, NH, Robin Querker (Adam) of Orange and Nancy Wattnem (Erik) of Milford. Grandchildren, Maryellen and Melissa Weaving, Judy and Christopher Dotson, Carissa and Jessica Trickett, Logan Linley, Steven Linley, Adam (AJ) Querker and Penelope Wattnem.
