School Of Rock Milford Opening In June

MILFORD, CT — School of Rock will hold its grand opening at 213 Cherry St. on June 17.

The event will feature ribbon cutting, a pizza truck, raffle, tours and student performances.

The Milford location is owned by Heidi Rogers and Kurt Koehler. Rogers's son was a student at the School of Rock Fairfield location for six years and Koehler was a School of Rock student for six years and played in a band with other students.

“We are thrilled to be able to provide opportunities for the community to learn and perform music in a safe, inclusive, fun, and enriching environment,” Koehler said.“There is almost no better way to develop confidence, resilience and problem-solving skills than through music education and performance."

School of Rock provides music lessons for students of all ages. The school has lessons in bass, guitar, singing, drum and piano.
