Senka was a woman who loved her family more than words could ever explain. Beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend.
Senka Jukić, 74, of Milford, beloved wife of Ivan Jukić, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026. Born on July 1, 1952 in Bugojno, Bosnia and Herzegovina she was the daughter of the late Josip Jurčević and Mila Vuknić.
Senka was a woman who loved her family more than words could ever explain. Even when challenges faced her, she always made sure to provide her husband and kids with endless amounts of love, support, and food. It’s hard to summarize all that she overcame and accomplished in her life while also highlighting all that she gave to those around her. We take solace knowing her soul is at peace as she continues to watch over us with the big man above. We’re happy she’s reunited with her parents, brothers, and some of her favorite cats while she knits her next masterpiece.
In addition to her loving husband, Senka is survived by her children, Andrija Jukić, Zvonimir Jukić, Iva Jukić, Jure Jukić, and Jelena Jukić. She is survived by her sister, Dunja Jurčević, and her nephew, Robert Jurčević, from her late brother Mate Jurčević. She is predeceased by her brother, Ljupko Jurčević.

Friends and family may call on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT. A Prayer Service will be held from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Interment will follow the next day, Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Saint Mary Cemetery on Buckingham Ave. (PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY AT THE CEMETERY)
