Several People Pepper Sprayed At Milford Mall Saturday: PD
Several fights broke out at the mall Saturday and several victims were pepper sprayed by juveniles, police said. One person was charged.
MILFORD, CT — Police had a busy night at the Connecticut Post Mall Saturday after several fights broke out and a juvenile went missing.
Officers went to nearby Walgreens around 7:45 p.m. to meet a juvenile who said they were assaulted at the mall near Target. The juvenile ran to Walgreens to escape, police said.
Officers also went to the mall around 8:10 p.m. to search for a missing non-verbal juvenile, who was eventually reunited with their family.

A fight broke out in the food court while police were speaking with mall security officers. Multiple juveniles had been pepper sprayed, and one juvenile was briefly detained, but no victims wanted to pursue charges, police said.
Officers also broke up fights at the mall bus stop and near Dave and Busters. Victims didn't want to pursue charges, and the crowds dispersed.

Police located a juvenile during the commotion that matched the description from the reported assault at Target. The juvenile was seen on video surveillance punching the victim, police said. The juvenile was charged.
Orange and state police also went to the mall to assist Milford police.
