Several TV news reporters/anchors depart their stations
Fox 61 anchor/reporter Ashley Afonso said on social media that she has departed the station.
"Many have asked, yes it’s true. I’ve made the very hard decision not to return to my friends at Fox61. Right now I feel a very strong pull to focus on other things, and I can’t ignore that voice. At this time my family is my number one priority."
(2/2) Thank you to all the loyal morning news viewers who welcomed me into your homes and to my fabulous co-workers at Fox. You made waking up in the middle of the night not only bearable but enjoyable. ❤️
