A Silly, Silly Halloween at Milford Public Library

Children's Author Janet Lawler will appear at Milford Public Library on Saturday, October 25, at 10:30 a.m.

A not-so-scary program for pre-K and early grades features Milford-born children’s author Janet Lawler’s two Halloween pop-up books, Silly Ghosts and Silly Skeletons. Kids will wonder what Silly Ghosts are looking for when they pop out to surprise and entertain. And Silly Skeletons go trick-or-treating and fool the neighborhood with their very “real” costumes.

Kids will learn a new song as they wiggle and rattle their bones around. Kids can come in costume to this fun event, and they will have an opportunity to color their favorite costume onto a skeleton activity sheet. A washable hand stamp is offered for taking a ghost home.

Both books will be available for inscription and autograph after the event for anyone interested in purchasing a copy (not required, and program is free).
