Smash-And-Grab Thieves Steal $50K Worth Of Jewelry From Milford Mall, Police Say
The thieves entered the store with hammers and smashed three jewelry cases, police said.
MILFORD, CT — Smash-and-grab thieves hit the Macy's jewelry store at the Connecticut Post Mall over the weekend.
Police said multiple calls came in Saturday at 6:21 p.m. reporting shots fired at the mall.
No shots had been fired. Three jewelry cases had been smashed.

Two people came through the Macy's entrance with hammers and broke the cases.
They stole about $50,000 worth of jewelry, then fled in a vehicle, according to police.
