Snow, Ice, Rain Forecast For CT Coast: Here's When, How Much
It looks like it will be a real mess beginning late Monday and lasting through Tuesday for the Connecticut coast or I-95 corridor.
SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT — For residents living along the Interstate 95 corridor or Connecticut coast another complex storm will impact the region beginning Monday night and lasting through Tuesday afternoon.
It won't be a big snow event. Snow is expected to begin after 8 p.m. Monday and mix with rain quickly along the coast but the real issue is the freezing rain that is expected during the early morning hours of Tuesday.

The Tuesday morning commute, especially early, may be a real mess due to the frozen precipitation. By mid-morning Tuesday the mixed precipitation is expected to change over to plain rain lasting through the afternoon hours and the rain may end as a mix of rain and freezing rain. The precipitation ends Tuesday night. A slushy one to two inches of accumulation is possible, the National Weather Service says.
