Special Weather Statement Just Issued For Southern CT; More Snow/Ice On Friday
The National Weather Service has issued both a special weather statement and hazardous weather outlook for southern Connecticut.

SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT — The National Weather Service has issued both a hazardous weather outlook and a special weather statement for Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
The weather service wrote: "Temperatures will be falling to below freezing early this evening, and remain below freezing into late Wednesday morning. Residual moisture from light precipitation during Tuesday, along with light winds, will lead to the formation of areas of black ice on untreated roads and sidewalks.
"Motorists traveling later this evening and overnight should be prepared for the possibility of black ice. Roads that appear wet may actually be black ice, so please drive with extra caution."
