Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued As Next Storm Emerges For Southern Connecticut
The National Weather Service also released snow totals from Sunday's storm for several southern CT towns. How much snow did you get?
CONNECTICUT — This past weekend featured both 60 degree weather and then a few inches of snow, and the forecast this week also looks to be rapidly changing.
High temperatures Monday will only reach the mid 20s, and the wind chill factor makes it feel like zero degrees. Temperatures will drop into the single digits tonight, and it remains cold Tuesday before we warm up again into the 40s on Wednesday.
Thursday looks stormy, with rain and strong wind gusts. The National Weather Service has already issued a hazardous weather outlook for Thursday for southern Connecticut, saying, "Damaging wind gusts in excess of 60 mph are possible late Thursday into early Friday as a strong frontal system tracks through the area."
