The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Monday. Here's what you can expect and when.

SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT — The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for all of southern Connecticut on Monday.
For the Interstate 95 corridor towns and northern sections of New London County, the advisory is in effect until noon Monday. "Mixed precipitation with mainly freezing rain. Ice accumulations of a light glaze."
"Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute," the weather service said.

Forecast details:
Today: Rain, snow, and freezing rain, becoming all rain after noon. High near 39. Wind chill values between 25 and 35. Northeast wind 3 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Tonight: Rain likely before 2am, then rain or freezing rain likely between 2am and 3am, then rain likely after 3am. Cloudy, with a low around 33. North wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Little or no ice accumulation expected.
For inland sections of Fairfield, New Haven, and Middlesex counties, the weather advisory is in effect until 3 p.m. Monday.
"Mixed precipitation with mainly freezing rain. Ice accumulations of a light glaze, with little to no snow accumulation," the weather service said.
