At 836 AM EST, radar indicated a line of heavy showers moving across New Haven County. Movement was northeast at 40 mph.
Brief heavy rainfall and wind gusts up to 30 mph are possible. Rainfall amounts up to half an inch can be expected with the heaviest showers. Ponding on roadways can be expected in areas where the heaviest rain falls.
