St. Mary School Milford 8th Grade Girl Scout Cadette Troop #30328 and their families just returned from a trip to Washington, D.C. The girls have been planning this trip for several years and received invitations to
Rep. Rosa DeLauro's office, the US Capital, the White House and were given permission to hold a private memorial service for the Challenger space shuttle crash victims at Arlington National Cemetery. They rode
the metro, visited several Smithsonian museums and took a night tour of Washington, DC. The girls, most of whom have been together in the troop since kindergarten, enjoyed the time learning and seeing DC together.
