St. Mary School, Milford, Celebrates Veterans Day

After a day of learning about veterans and the armed forces, the St. Mary School family gathered together for a prayer service in the church. Parishioners and veterans alike joined the students in prayer, song and verse as a way to thank all those who have served or are still serving our country. After Halloween and leading up to Veterans Day, the school contributed to the candy drive for Operation Gratitude. With the generous donations, the school was able to ship 11 boxes totaling close to 300 pounds of candy and toiletries, DOUBLING what the school collected last year! This act of kindness will bring many smiles to our service men & women who protect us everyday!
