Storehouse Food Pantry in Milford Assembling Holiday Baskets to Distribute in Time for Thanksgiving
The baskets will be distributed on Nov. 24.

The Storehouse Food Pantry in Milford will be assembling over 650 Thanksgiving baskets this weekend.
The baskets filled with turkey, stuffing, vegetables and other holiday trimmings will be distributed to those who have asked for assistance on Nov. 24 at Cornerstone Christian Center located at 349 Wheelers Farm Road.
“Thanksgiving is all about giving and sharing what we have with others in need,” Joan Peret, the director of the pantry said in a press release. “Our team is eager to be a blessing to so many families this year.”

The Storehouse Food Pantry provides groceries for over 40 families in Milford and from all over New Haven and Bridgeport counties each week. The Pantry receives donations from the Connecticut Food Bank as well as local grocery stores and food drives. Families in need of assistance are encouraged to call (203) 683-4840 on Mondays between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. or Thursdays between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to schedule an appointment.
