Strong Storms, Heavy Rain Moving Through Southern Connecticut Now
The National Weather Service has just issued a weather bulletin for the region.

SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT — The National Weather Service has issued a bulletin concerning some severe weather moving through Southern Connecticut as of 5:40 p.m. Wednesday.
The NWS says, "At 541 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms overspreading the state of Connecticut from the west. Locally heavy rainfall, as well as lightning strikes, can be expected in some of this activity. This area will be monitored for the potential for minor urban flooding over the next few hours."
