Obituary: Thomas Gallo, 74

Thomas Gallo, age 74, of Milford, beloved husband of 50 years to Phyllis Reding Gallo, died on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at home. Tom was born in Norwalk on April 7, 1950 to the late Patsy and Doris Perkowski Gallo. He worked in building and maintenance for 16 years at Weeburn Country Club in Darien and retired from Saint Jospeh’s Manor as the Director of Maintenance for the past 38 years. Tom's favorite past time was boating with his wife Phyllis. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.

Survivors include his children: Barry Gallo (Heather) of West Haven and Jeffrey Gallo (Anna) of Orange, three granddaughters, Sophia and Natalie Gallo and Tiffany Gallo, eight siblings, Patricia Paris, Joanne Leeming, twin-sister, Virginia Gallo, Donald, Richard, Kenneth, William and Patrick (Kathy) Gallo, brother-in-law, John Reding and several nieces and nephews. Tom is predeceased by his beloved grandmother, Kathrine Perkowski.

Friends and family may call on Tuesday, March 25th from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in THE GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 26th at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Mary Church (Precious Blood Parish). Interment will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Shriners Children's Hospital or Tunnels to Towers foundation.
