Thomas Joseph Frank, 78, of Milford, beloved husband of 47 years to Maureen Frank, passed away on January 23, 2026. Born on April 9, 1947 in New Haven, CT, he was the son of the late Robert and Gertrude Frank.

Born in New Haven and raised in Milford, Thomas graduated from Milford High School in 1967. He found rewarding work at a printer following high school, but with the Vietnam War ramping up at the time he was drafted in 1968 and headed to Fort Dix for training early in the year. Following a short stint at Fort Benning, Thomas was on his way to Vietnam by October and served there for a year, working as a clerk typist in a G2 Intelligence and Security Unit.

Following his Vietnam duty, Thomas was headed back home but, having voluntarily signed up for an additional year of service, he instead was shipped to Germany where the Army was short on administrative personnel. Thomas served nine months in Germany before being honorably discharged in 1971.
