Trio Say They Plan to Reopen Paul's Famous Hamburgers

The iconic hamburger stand, which first opened in 1946 on the Boston Post Road, might be back in business by the end of the summer.

Community and Economic Development Director Bob Gregory has said over the years some developers , but now it looks like someone is moving forward with a plan to redevelop the spot as a new Paul’s Famous Hamburgers.

According to an article by the Shoreline Times, three men involved with the Milford United Soccer Club want to reopen Paul’s and might be serving burgers and shakes by the end of the summer.

Paul’s opened on the Boston Post Road in 1946 and served hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, fries and onion rings for 62 years before closing in 2008.
