More Details: Truck Fell Off I-95 In Milford
State police released more details about what happened after a tractor-trailer fell off I-95 and onto the Boston Post Road.

MILFORD, CT — A tractor trailer fell off I-95 and landed on the Boston Post Road around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday after another car tried to pass using the right shoulder, according to state police.
A person driving a Toyota Camry driving on I-95 southbound near exit 39 tried to pass a Honda CRV in the right lane by using the right shoulder, according to state police. The Camry driver sideswiped the CRV and then struck the rear of a tractor trailer.
The tractor trailer driver lost control and the vehicle rolled over a metal beam guard rail and fell upside down onto the Boston Post Road. The driver was taken to the hospital for minor injuries, as was the driver of the CRV.

Firefighters cleaned up debris and an oil spill, according to Milford Professional Firefighters. Center Towing and Truck Repair pulled the vehicle upright and helped clear the scene.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
