The restaurant is situated on what was once a former garage space that was converted to a restaurant in the 1940s and Richard Smith’s family purchased the building in 1965, the Connecticut Post previously reported. It was named the Seven Seas because the family included several Navy men. The decour has changed over the decades as a shuffleboard and jukeboxes have been replaced.
But what hasn’t changed is the famous fish and chips and lobster rolls that keeps people coming back to the Seven Seas. The food receives strong reviews on Yelp.
