Update On Blight Complaints In Milford

City health officials have released new data concerning reported blight complaints in Milford this year.

MILFORD, CT — At a recent Board of Health meeting, local health officials updated the city's anti-blight activities. As of Jan. 17, 2020, the Health Department received 206 general complaints from Milford residents and 53 were specific blight complaints.

The time period is from July 1, 2019 through Jan. 17, 2020. Currently, there are twenty properties undergoing enforcement action, officials said.

The owners of these properties may be fined $100 for each day the violation(s) continue to exist after the compliance date specified in the notice of violation.
