Vaugh Joseph (VJ) Brennan, Jr. 89, of Milford, beloved husband of Judy Brennan, passed away on August 20, 2024. Vaugh was born December 24, 1934, in New Haven, CT, son of the late Vaugh, Sr. and Edna (Sessler) Brennan.
After graduating from Notre Dame High School in West Haven, VJ enlisted in the United States Marine Corp where he proudly served three years. This was a very special time in his life, and he felt privileged to serve his country. Upon being honorably discharged, he enrolled in the University of Connecticut. VJ had a long and distinguished career in the telecommunications industry, retiring as a Vice President of ADC Telecommunications.
VJ and Judy were avid travelers and visited over 50 countries. They particularly enjoyed adventures in Asia and Africa. VJ was gregarious and charmed people all over the world; they made several lifelong friends as a result of their journeys. When he wasn’t travelling, VJ enjoyed a good game of golf, and he was a member of The Orchards Senior League late into his life. A particular source of joy was handfeeding “Larry”, a seagull who visited his home every summer for many years.
