Victoria Brennan passed away on May 22, 2024.
Victoria loved spending long summer days at Jones Beach watching the sunrise and sunset.

Victoria Brennan of Milford, beloved wife of the late Arthur R. Brennan for 54 years, passed away on May 22, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Victor and Kathleen D’Angelo of Mount Vernon NY. Her memory will be cherished by her family including her son Arthur (Laura), daughters Vicki (Bela), and Christine, her beloved granddaughter Rose and her brother Michael D’Angelo (Jo-Ann) of Newtown CT. She will also be missed by other family members - nieces, nephews and close family friends. Victoria was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth Costello of Portchester NY.
A graduate of A.B. Davis High School, Victoria began her professional career in New York City at Union Carbide followed by a lifelong career at The Horolovar Clock Company in Bronxville NY. Victoria was known for her organization and planning skills (almost to a fault), keen wordsmithing skills (her 2 favorite books were the dictionary and thesaurus), and her addiction to all things “office supplies.”
On a fateful day in 1959 at the Jersey Shore, Victoria met the love of her life, Arthur. They started a family and moved from Brooklyn to Mount Vernon. She was an over achiever who balanced many work hours, keeping a busy house organized, attending countless school sporting events and spending long summer days at Jones Beach watching the sunrise and sunset.

Victoria was a perfectionist (the good kind.) Her sense of humor unmatched, her story telling, legendary. She loved music and to dance; especially the Lindy with her sister and the Twist with her brother. She was supportive, dedicated, loyal, committed and loving. She was unforgettable and brought both strength and wit to this world. The wonderful memories that Victoria created will be carried on by all of those who knew her.
On behalf of the family, a special thank you is extended to Carriage Green Assisted Living of Milford for their kindness, caring services and genuine friendship that they offered Victoria for her 8 years living there. She enjoyed countless activities, live music gatherings, and was treated superbly by everyone from the aids, nursing, kitchen staff, housekeeping, administrative staff, activities specialists, etc. Another thank you is extended to Caring Hospice for the skill and dignity in which they cared for our beloved matriarch during her final days.
