A Vision for Milford

For years, the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce has been working toward a vision that would enhance our vibrant city, support local businesses, and provide a valuable resource for both residents and visitors—a dedicated Visitors Center in Downtown Milford.

We are excited to announce that, in partnership with the Downtown Milford Business Association, we are prepared to staff and operate a Visitors Center to serve as a hub of information, engagement, and economic development. This initiative would bring significant benefits to the City of Milford, local businesses, organizations, and the greater community by creating a centralized location to promote events, attractions, and services that showcase everything our city has to offer.

However, bringing this vision to life requires the support of a building owner or developer willing to partner with us to make this initiative affordable. While we have put forward multiple proposals over the past few years, we are now actively seeking a space that can serve as the home of the Milford Visitors Center, with the goal of launching this important service in 2026.

Why Milford Needs a Visitors Center

Milford is a destination city, a beautiful coastal community with a thriving downtown, historical charm, and a flourishing business district. A Visitors Center would provide a dedicated place where:

• Tourists & Visitors can find information about dining, shopping, attractions, and local events
• Businesses & Organizations can promote their services, engage with potential customers, and increase visibility
• Community Members can stay informed about local happenings and opportunities
• The City of Milford can showcase our incredible quality of life, attracting new residents and investment.

To make this initiative a reality, we need a physical space - a welcoming, centrally located site where we can provide resources, staff support, and a vibrant experience for those exploring Milford.
