WEATHER ALERT: New Haven County Under Flood Advisory

Adding insult to injury after Sunday morning’s ice storm, now the National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for all of New Haven County from now until 4:45 p.m.

Heavy rain is moving through the area right now and already an inch of precipitation has fallen and another inch is expected, which means flooding is expected, the National Weather Service predicts.

May rivers and streams could flood, according to the alert. Please do not drive your vehicle through areas where water covers the roadway, the National Weather Service states.
