'What Up Funk' to Play for Milford Chamber’s Concert Series
The Milford Chamber of Commerce Concert Series 'Summer Nights by Harbor Lights' presents the 'What Up Funk Band' on July 29.

MILFORD, Conn. –The Milford Chamber of Commerce concert series “Summer Nights by Harbor Lights”, sponsored by the Annual Milford Oyster Festival, continues Friday night, July 29th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fowler Field Rotary Pavilion (behind the Milford Library). This week features funk and soul band What up Funk.
For over 20 years strong, the "What Up Funk Band" has amazed audiences on a national and local level with its driving high energy performances and dance addictive repertoire. The music of this 7-piece ensemble is achieved through a thoughtful balance of instrumentation and vocal melody. Soulful and always funky, "WHAT UP" derives its force from diverse cultural backgrounds as well as musical expertise.

The “Summer Nights by Harbor Lights” concert series is free to attend and runs through August 12, 2016. Coming up next in the summer series:

Residents are asked to please bring chairs or a blanket to sit on and enjoy the show!
Rain cancellation notices will be broadcast on WPLR and WICC radio stations. No alcohol is permitted. Dancing at your own risk.
