MILFORD, CT — The Wheelers Farms Road bridge over the Daniel S. Wasson Connector is expected to return to two-way traffic by the beginning of May, the state Department of Transportation confirmed to Patch.

The bridge replacement project started in 2019 and the bridge operated under an alternating one-way traffic pattern since.

Once complete, the bridge will feature wider lanes and a higher clearance. The final phase of the project includes adding an acceleration and deceleration lane to the connector for the I-95 interchange.
