Whitcraft Group Announces New Equity Partnership for Long Term Growth

Aerospace firm poised for growth

EASTFORD, CT, April 18, 2017 – The Whitcraft Group announced it has formed an equity partnership to enable continued growth and hiring as well as positioning for potential future acquisitions.

Whitcraft has partnered with the New York-based private investment firm, Greenbriar Equity Group. Greenbriar has more than $2.5 billion of committed capital and a focus on global transportation, including aerospace and defense.

“We have been fortunate to win significant content on the next generation commercial and military programs that will drive the growth of the jet engine market for the next ten years,” said Colin Cooper, Whitcraft Chief Executive Officer. “To position ourselves to be successful with this influx of business, we joined with Greenbriar so we could acquire new equipment when needed, continue boosting and training our work force and be sufficiently nimble to take advantage of any acquisition opportunities that might arise.”

Jeffrey Paul, Whitcraft’s President and Chief Operating Officer said, “We are in an environment where operational execution is critical. To take full advantage of the opportunities in front of us we need to invest in our work force, making sure that they have the skills, knowledge and abilities to successfully compete in the global aerospace market. At the same time we are investing in new equipment at an unprecedented rate, upgrading our capabilities and increasing our capacity to position the company for the growth at hand.”
