Winter Team State Championship History: Milford Schools
Milford-based high school teams have won six state championships in winters past.
MILFORD, CT — As practices for Connecticut high school winter sports officially get underway Monday (girls basketball, ice hockey and wrestling) and Thursday (boys basketball, indoor track, boys swimming and girls gymnastics), hopes run high for all teams to achieve the ultimate goal: winning a league championship, and possibly a state title.
To help squads get into the championship mentality, here is a listing of all six CIAC winter team titles won by Foran, Lauralton Hall and Jonathan Law high schools in past years (* - indicates a co-op team). Note: Platt Tech has never captured a winter team title.
