Winter Weather Advisory Now Issued For Southern Connecticut
Southern Connecticut is now looking at plowable snow on Saturday. Here are the new details on how much snow to expect.

The National Weather Service has just issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Southern Connecticut. The advisory goes into effect at 10 p.m. tonight and concludes noon Saturday. A total of 3 to 5 inches of snow is now expected.
Slippery travel conditions are expect, the weather service cautions.

Tonight
Snow, mainly after midnight. Low around 28. Light and variable wind becoming northeast 5 to 8 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Saturday
Snow likely, mainly before 9am. Cloudy, with a high near 38. Wind chill values between 20 and 30. North wind 6 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

A 20 percent chance of rain before 9pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. Light northwest wind.
