MILFORD, CT — A woman is facing charges including assault on an elderly person and burglary, according to Milford police.

Police responded to a New Haven Avenue address on the morning of July 1 on a report of a woman trespassing.

Police arrested Yeni Vargas-Perdonma, 38, of New Haven, who had two active warrants out for her arrest.

She is accused in a "burglary incident where she assaulted the victim," police said.

Vargas-Perdonma also had warrants out for her arrest for failing to appear in court.

She was charged with second-degree burglary, assault on an elderly person, breach of peace, criminal trespassing, and second-degree failure to appear in court.

Bond was set at $21,000. She was scheduled to appear in Milford Superior Court on July 3.
