Woman Collapses At Milford Restaurant; State Police Jump In To Help

When a woman collapsed at a Milford establishment recently, a group eating at the restaurant came to her aid, according to a report.

MILFORD, CT — When a woman collapsed at a Milford restaurant recently, several people, some of whom were off-duty state police officers, sprung into action. The unidentified woman collapsed while eating lunch at The Corner Restaurant on River Street on March 4, according to Hearst Connecticut Media.

A group eating at a nearby table, which included some state cops, came over to help. They lifted the unconscious woman out of her chair, laid her on the floor, checked her pulse and airway, and called 911.

An ambulance took the woman to Bridgeport Hospital's Milford Campus.
