Obituary: Yves Allard, 74, Of Milford

Yves J. Allard, age 74, of Milford, beloved husband of Christine Krusweski Allard for 47 years, died on Monday, November 11, 2024. Yves was born in Montreal, Canada on January 31, 1950 to the late Jacques and Muriel Boyer Allard. He was a machinist at Avco Lycoming but found a calling in healthcare later in life and became a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Yves was a family man and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed woodworking and traveling on cruise ships with Chris. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors in addition to his wife Chris, include his cherished children, Brian Allard and his wife Kristen of North Carolina and Lauren Benway and her husband Brian of Virginia, three grandchildren, Hunter Allard and Presley and Thomas Benway, siblings, Dennis Allard of Florida, Evelyn Ambriscoe and her husband Michael of Massachusetts, Guy Allard and his wife Beth of Georgia and Lisa Chickos and her husband Michael of Milford, sister-in-law, Joanne Neely and her husband Dick of Milford and brother-in-law, Richard Krusewski and his wife Marcia of Milford, June Krusewski of Meriden and many nieces and nephews. Yves is predeceased by his brothers-in-law, Thomas Krusewski and Allwyn Krusewski.
Family and friends may call on Monday, November 18th, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in THE GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD, CT. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 19th at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Ann Church (Saint Raphael Parish). Interment will be private.
