After 2 Vehicles Stolen, Police Warn Monroe Residents To Lock Up

Two vehicles were stolen and several more entered into during the overnight hours early Monday in Monroe.

MONROE, CT — Two vehicles were stolen and several more entered into during the overnight hours early Monday in Monroe.

Police report that every vehicle rifled through was unlocked, and owners had left the keys inside all the vehicles stolen.

The Monroe Police Department "will continue to be active and visible to deter the car thieves," but implored residents on social media to lock their vehicles and take their keys.
