MONROE, CT — Think you can make it through the night inside one of Connecticut's most famous paranormal landmarks? A new fundraiser gives one lucky winner the chance to find out.
The Monroe Police Union is selling raffle tickets for a chance to win an overnight stay at the Warren House and Occult Museum on Oct. 30. The prize includes a stay for the winner and up to seven guests inside the former home of famed paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren.
According to the raffle announcement, the overnight experience includes access to the Warrens' home, the offices where they investigated paranormal cases, meeting rooms once used by the New England Society for Psychic Research and the Occult Museum, which houses hundreds of artifacts collected during more than 40 years of paranormal investigations.
Raffle tickets cost $50 each, and participants can purchase a ticket here. The drawing is scheduled for Aug. 2.
Proceeds will support the Monroe Police Union's annual Monroe Night Out event, with additional donations benefiting Special Olympics Connecticut, the Masuk Booster Club, Think Pink Monroe and Ciara's Light.
The Warren House has attracted visitors from around the world because of its connection to Ed and Lorraine Warren, whose paranormal investigations inspired "The Conjuring" film franchise.
The property also offers private overnight stays throughout the year, separate from the raffle. According to the Warren House website, weekday winter rentals start at $666 per night and can be booked here.
