Former Monroe Warren Museum Announces Public Opening In Salem

MONROE, CT — The famed Warren Occult Museum collection, once housed in Monroe, will soon be back on public display.

The Haunted Warren Museum announced it will open Aug. 27 at 259 Essex St. in Salem, Massachusetts, with reservations now available through Nov. 1.

The museum will feature the real Annabelle doll along with more than 1,000 artifacts collected by renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren over decades of investigations.

According to the museum, visitors will explore 13 exhibits featuring haunted objects, cursed artifacts, occult relics, true crime evidence and historical items connected to some of the Warrens' most famous cases, including Amityville, The Conjuring House and The Devil Made Me Do It.

Standard admission includes a self-guided flashlight tour lasting up to one hour. Additional paranormal investigation experiences are planned to debut later this year, according to the museum.

The original Warren Occult Museum operated for years at the Warrens' Monroe home before closing to the public in 2019 because of zoning issues. In 2025, comedian Matt Rife and YouTuber Elton Castee announced they had purchased the property and assumed stewardship of the Warrens' collection.

The museum describes the Salem attraction as the first time in history the complete collection has had a public home outside the original Monroe museum.
