Monroe recorded 21 new business registrations in August, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. Management consultants and carpentry and framing contractors were the most common categories, with two filings each.
Wendylicious of Monroe was one of the more distinctive filings — a quick-service restaurant — joined by Dream Big Search, a staffing business and Flader Custom Improvement, a carpentry contractor. All 21 organized as limited liability companies.
