MONROE, CT — A section of Cottage Street is closed Sunday morning as authorities investigate a structure fire, according to Monroe police.
Cottage Street is closed between Downs Road and Brookside Trail, police said in an update Sunday morning.
The closure is expected to remain in place until roughly noon. Drivers are being asked to use an alternate route.
Police did not immediately provide additional information about the fire or the investigation.
