Why are you seeking this office?
I want to make Connecticut affordable for everyone from seniors to those recent college grads so we don't continue to lose residents to other more cost-friendly states.
What do you believe is the No. 1 issue facing Connecticut, and how do you plan to address it?
Affordability. It is just too expensive to live in Connecticut. All options should be on the table from a temporary gas tax holiday to reprioritizing spending to accurately funding education. It is all about priorities and Democrats, and their policies, who have been running this state for decades have led us to this unfortunate situation.
Energy costs have been soaring in Connecticut. What are your plans to help address this issue?
Finally tackle the Public Benefits charges affecting all households in Connecticut. It is a hidden tax driving up our costs to be one of the most expensive in the entire country. We also need to really consider more options like nuclear.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I am currently serving my third term and have had tons of success fighting for my district, getting support from Republicans, Democrats and unaffiliated constituents.
