MONROE, CT — A new hair salon has officially opened at 630 Main St., Suite 1, in Monroe, celebrating the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local business and town leaders.
HAIR LUX by Jenny announced the milestone in a Facebook post, thanking the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, Sunny Gill and First Selectman Terrence P. Rooney for welcoming the business to town.
"IT'S OFFICIAL!" the salon wrote. "A dream turned into reality… and what a beautiful moment to celebrate!"
The business described the ribbon cutting as a significant milestone and expressed gratitude for the community's support.
"This is more than just a ribbon cutting. It's the beginning of something beautiful!" the salon wrote.
The announcement concluded with a message to local residents: "Monroe, I'm so happy to call you home."
