Community invited to shred personal documents in an effort to raise funds for cancer research and increase awareness about cancer prevention
Connecticut Post Mall is partnering with PROSHRED® Security of Wallingford to host its annual shred documents to “Shred Cancer” event on Saturday, June 4th from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. The community is invited to shred their personal documents in an effort to raise funds for cancer research and increase awareness about cancer prevention.
This event, which will be held in Connecticut Post Mall’s extended Macy’s parking lot at 1201 Boston Post Road in Milford, is part of PROSHRED® and the American Institute for Cancer Research’s (AICR) annual nationwide event.
“With consumer fraud and identity theft becoming more prevallent, we are pleased to provide people with the opportunity to protect their personal information,” says Danielle Consiglio, Marketing Manager at Connecticut Post Mall. “Events like this help make our communities safer while raising money for an incredible cause.”

Participants will receive cancer-prevention recipes, healthy lifestyle tips and other materials from AICR as part of their education outreach program.
