"Back to School" BINK-A-THON

Sponsors are needed to help us continue our mission of providing “binky’s” - blankets for critically and terminally ill children throughout this area. We would appreciate any monetary donation long with yarn, flannel, fleece, washable cotton as well as gift cards for Jo-Ann’s or Michael’s.

Volunteers will be organizing their “4th Monroe/Trumbull BINK-A-THON” with stations for organizing fabric, cutting/tying fleece, crocheting and knitting blankets and squares. Please bring your own supplies and scissors if you are able to join us. A perfect opportunity for scouting groups to earn badges and for students needing service hours. Finished Binky’s can be dropped off also.

Binky’s are given to NICU units at St. Vincent’s, Bridgeport, Danbury, Griffin and Yale New Haven hospitals, along with other local agencies and shelters. As well as our new partnership with “Al’s Angel’s”. Binky’s are on hand for any child that needs a “HUG”.
