Back To School: Monroe 2021-22 School Calendar

MONROE, CT — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Monroe, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Monroe Public Schools.

The first day of school for most students in Monroe is Aug. 26.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Monroe.

Like last year, the COVID-19 policies could change any time before the first day.

Monroe Public Schools

First Day: Aug. 26

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-26 (early dismissal on the 24th)

Winter Break: Dec. 24-31 (early dismissal on the 23rd)

Spring Break: April 15-22

Last Day: June 9 (projected last day)
