Code Red message, January 26, 2015

Winter Storm Juno

Today is January 26, 2015. This is a Code Red notification from Monroe Emergency Management and Monroe Police Department.

Heavy snow, strong winds and blizzard conditions are expected in our area from late afternoon today through late afternoon Tuesday.

A parking ban is in effect for the town of Monroe. Vehicles parked in the roadway in violation of this parking ban will be ticketed and towed.

Please stay off of the roads unless absolutely necessary.

All residents are advised to shelter in place. If there is a need for emergency sheltering, plans are in place and a shelter will be activated. Any additional information will be broadcast through use of Code Red as needed.
