Bridgeport Man Facing DUI Charge in Monroe
The man was released on a written promise to appear.

A Bridgeport man is facing a DUI charge in Monroe.
According to police, Marlon Harrigan, 37 was traveling slowly on Route 110 in the eastbound lane on June 7 around 2 a.m.. When the vehicle was stopped, officers detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage and Harrigan allegedly had slurred speech and watery eyes.
Harrigan failed field sobriety tests, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive in the proper lane.

He was released on a written promise to appear in court on June 17.
