Businesses Rise Up from the Ashes
The Rustic Grille took steps toward reopening and a sign announced a new lighting business in the Frances Bakery building.
Two separate fires closed down The Rustic Grille and Frances Bakery & Deli on Main Street, but activity was noticeable in the parking lots across from Roberto's Restaurant on Tuesday afternoon.
Three white United Heating & Restoration vans were outside The Rustic Grille, which should reopen by the middle of this month. The popular restaurant had been closed since being victimized by arson on Aug. 8.
On Aug. 30,2010, Frances Bakery & Deli had a basement fire. The bakery is not coming back, but a sign is up for a new business, Siempre Lighting & Home Accents is "Coming Soon."
