Why are you running?

I am running to continue being a strong advocate for the people and needs of Monroe. I want to ensure both sides of any issue are fully vetted and understood. I am a proven advocate for the people and have the experience and education to help run a municipality.

What are the three biggest issues facing Monroe?

Property taxes/ economic development, education and transparency in leadership

How can the Town Council keep the town in the right direction?

At this point we are not going in the right direction, economic development is down, the school system has sustained many losses, town debt is increasing and property values are decreasing.

We need to focus on reversing this downward trend. The administration needs to stop using the town credit card to pay for operational expenses. The roads will wear out long before we have paid back the debt. As a member of the current minority party, I also provide a check and balance against the lopsided power structure in Town.

What skills and attributes make you a good fit for the Town Council?

I am an Attorney, legislative and government advocate. I have experience in the
administration and running of the largest municipality in the state, I have worked
in Hartford writing and advocating for numerous legislative initiatives in energy,
education, and property tax reeducation. I provide additional legal expertise, especially in the areas of ordinance drafting and legislation.
