MONROE, CT — An application recently filed with the Monroe Planning & Zoning Department proposes the construction of seven apartment buildings near the Trumbull line on Main Street.

Solli Engineering, the engineering company representing the developers, is proposing 28 units per structure, for a total of 196 apartments at 127 Main Street.

The project, Pond View Development, contemplates the construction of four garages, a maintenance building and associated site improvements including grading and drainage, landscaping, and utility work. Each residential building would be equipped with Americans with Disabilities Act- accessible amenities, including elevators and parking spaces. The plan also includes parking stalls designated for electric vehicle charging, as well as a clubhouse, pool, hammocks, and cabanas.
