Dietary Supplement Thief Stole From Rte. 111 Walgreens: Monroe Police

Police are seeking information on the suspect. Have you seen him?

MONROE, CT — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who allegedly stole a large amount of a dietary supplement at the Walgreens on Rte. 111 last month.

In a post on Facebook, police described the alleged thief as a white or hispanic male in his thirties standing five-feet-six inches tall with a heavy set build, a mustache and beard stubble.

Police say he was wearing a black skully hat and a black jacket with a large punisher logo on the back.

The suspect is accused of stealing $350 worth of Prevagen dietary supplements. Police responded to a larceny complaint at the store on Feb. 27, and determined that the crime took place between 6 and 7:30 p.m.

According to the Prevagen website, the supplement is designed to help with mild memory problems associated with aging. According to the Walgreens website, a bottle of extra strength Prevagen costs $59.99 for 30 capsules.
